What To
We are located in a suburban area of Hanover County that is situated between several subdivisions, public schools, and history. It is an established, economically secure area that could be described as a “mom and pop” kind of setting. Our immediate area consists mostly of young to middle aged families.

The property itself has a walking trail and open land that is conducive to outdoor sporting activities like baseball, basketball, and soccer. It includes a playground not only for children, but also for adults interested in a little workout themselves. A covered shelter is also available for family picnics.

When you take a walk inside, you’ll see a Common Grounds area in the front of the church, just off the beautiful sanctuary, where coffee and light refreshments can be served or just a place to stand or sit and have a chat in an informal setting. As you go down the halls, where you’ll see many Sunday School classes, you’ll also see pictures of various activities and people enjoying the many activities held at the church.

Keep on stepping down that hall and you’ll end up in the Fellowship Hall where many meals, Bible Studies, and programs are held. This Fellowship Hall is not only used by Northside and its members, but is often used for county exercise classes, a voting precinct, and other community uses as requested.

When you head upstairs, there’s a hallway of classrooms where many of our children, youth, and young families meet in Sunday School rooms just for them.

We are a Bible-based, family-oriented church with a relaxed worship service that is somewhat traditional. There is a variety of music that comes from an adult choir with a variety of voices and instrumentalists, and even hand bells on occasion. We believe in women in ministry and the idea of come just as you are for worship.
